Free Bicycle Health Check
Wed 25 Nov 2015As part of the ongoing partnership between St Michael’s Primary and the Sustrans Active School Travel Programme, we are offering a Dr Bike clinic for Primary 6 and 7 pupils, on Tuesday 15th December. This is an opportunity to have your child’s bike checked to ensure it is safe and road worthy, and for minor adjustments to be made.
Beverley Gaston, the school Active Travel Officer, will give bikes a general safety check. This will cover areas such as brakes, wheels and tyres, pedals and chains. If small repairs or adjustments have been done or more work is needed a note will be sent home with the bike. This is not a substitute for a regular service by a qualified cycle technician.
All your child needs to do is bring their bike to school on Tuesday 15th December.

As part of this week the pupils have been given a different challenge each day.

Well done to all who participated!
