European Day Of Languages
Fri 29 Sep 2017We all really enjoyed European Languages Day. We welcomed St. Joseph’s College students and Aquinas students who led language sessions in French, Spanish and Irish with our Year 4-7 pupils. Ana, our Spanish teacher, visited Year 3 and taught them about the history of the Spanish flag. Our Year 1 pupils learnt to count in the different languages that are used in their classes and our Year 2 pupils worked on their Spanish colours.

St Michael's Boys Enjoy Success in Tipperary!
Thu 07 Sep 2017One year after a successful trip to Tipperary, Bredagh u10’s hurlers returned to St Mary's Hurling Club Clonmel, Co. Tipperary this weekend. Similar to last year the team faced teams from Kilkenny, Cork & Tipperary
A panel of 18 players included 11 St. Michael's boys ( Luke, Joseph, Tomas, Matthew, Josh, Johnny, Oscar, Conor, Ben, Harry & Niall) who all played their part. After 4 games, the boys faced Erin’s Own from Cork in the final of the Jimmy Collins Shield. As in 2016, at full time the score was all square. Bredagh showed great persistence and determination in extra time to finish the victors 4:5 to 3:4 and keep the Shield in South Belfast for another 12 months Well done boys! A fantastic achievement 🏆
