South Belfast 1 family support hub
Please see attached information leaflet for parents/families on how the Belfast hubs work for families and service request form.
We want to ensure as many parents as possible know about the hub, how it works and how they can access services when they need to. This is an open referral system – you can refer clients and parents can also refer themselves. The hubs work with Tier 2 families at a point where they need support and where possible we aim to have a 4 week turnaround on referrals.
The types of referral that we would regularly receive would be for:
Behaviour support for parents and children struggling with challenging behaviour
Social isolation – integrating families into their local community / services
1-1 support for children and young people
Home visit family support
Practical support – foodbank vouchers, clothes, furniture, benefits advice
