Silver Award

St Michael’s P.S. has now been awarded the Silver Award from Eco Schools. Our focus was on Litter in the school and around the school grounds. The Litter Patrol has been very busy and there has been a considerable improvement. There is a lot less litter so Congratulations everyone. Classes have taken part also in the Clean Class Awards which are now awarded monthly. Classes from Key Stage 2 have had  a presentation from Belfast City Council on ‘The Terrible Tales of Trash’ this really was a brilliant and informative presentation and reinforced the important of taking responsibility for our rubbish.  The children from year 3 & 4 have designed Litter Posters for the school.
