Miss Mulholland’s Primary one class had a brilliant morning in Minnowburn. We were led around three different activities, den building, pond dipping and foraging. We were delighted with the huts that we built and so excited about finding pond snails, water scorpions and fish in the pond. Then we got to taste hawthorn and beech leaves, discovered that garlic is really good for stopping bugs biting us and that nettle soup is really tasty! Thank you so much to Mick and all the staff at Minnowburn. We had a fantastic time! Thank you also to the parents who gave up their morning to come along with us!
