The Eco-Councillors carried out a litter survey around the school grounds to assess any areas in need of extra attention. They discovered that the level of litter was low with only a few areas requiring some attention … so well done Liz and the break-time litter pickers!
The Eco-councillors did however discover that the bins in the main playground still contain the remains of snacks such as apples, oranges and banana skins. Despite their campaign to encourage all pupils to use the food bin that is placed daily in the playground, some pupils are still putting food in the other bins that will go to landfill.
Please follow your Eco-Council’s request to use the correct bin every break-time!
